Brendan was looking for a career change when, almost by divine intervention, the role description of Chrometoaster's Account Manager appeared in his inbox. Realising the potential of the opportunity that had presented itself, Brendan immediately contacted "Chrome". Two weeks later, he started work.
At the age of 15 Brendan designed, developed and deployed his first e-Commerce web site. Brendan continued to develop small e-Commerce applications until the end of his Bachelor of Commerce and Administration at Victoria University, where he majored in Electronic Commerce and Management.
In September 2006 Brendan graduated from Excelerator's inaugural New Zealand Future Leaders Programme (NZFL). The 18 months of the NZFL programme were pivotal in Brendan's development as a person and as an upcoming leader. Brendan brings the fruits of this experience to his role at Chrome.
Prior to university Brendan completed a Diploma of Internet Technology from NatColl and in 2007 will begin FINSIA's Diploma of Financial Markets.
Brendan is deeply interested in all aspects of business. His long-term aspirations are predominantly entrepreneurial but he is reluctant to rule anything out.
