Faced with the harsh realities of another cold winter couriering on the mean streets of Wellington, the seductive appeal of a warm office job finally caught up with Dan, when in 1999 he embarked on a radical career change with his enrolment in a multimedia course. He quickly discovered an affinity for computers and embarked on his current career path in 2000, working all-nighters on freelance jobs in order to plug the numerous gaps in his brief reeducation.
As the internet has grown up, so has Dan's technical expertise. Today he is a leading-edge developer, reponsible for translating our innovative design solutions into accessible, semantically-correct sites.
Dan approaches every job as an experienced developer with a well-tested toolkit of tricks. His commercial experience and in-depth knowledge of a variety of coding methods gives him the ability to approach jobs from a mature point of view, using best practice solutions. He enjoys complex, technically challenging projects and is an independent problem solver who is constantly evolving his art through self-education. His stubborn and persistent attention to detail results in a consistently high standard of work, which both he and the client can be proud of.
