Chrometoaster has been working with Snapper since the Snapper brand was just a concept, and designed Snapper's first ‘brochure’ website. After Snapper was successfully launched in Wellington they soon found the need for a new multi-function website to reflect that Snapper was now a full consumer service, not just a product.
The new Snapper website needed to be contemporary and incorporate Snapper's tech focus, while maintaining Snapper's philosophy: making every day easier. Snapper also wanted to have open and engaged dialogues with their customers via their blog and Twitter pages.
Chrometoaster designed the new Snapper website to make it easier for customers to register their Snapper, and to make relevant customer data quickly accessible e.g. the homepage shows Snapper balances for registered users – the most sought after feature revealed through user testing.
The newsroom now incorporates Snapper's blog, email newsletters and two Snapper Twitter feeds into a single stream. This is the main interface for the business and active participation by the public is encouraged.
The Snapper online store has an easy two step ordering system and has been a great success for Snapper since launch. The design has improved the online sales support system to reduce customer dependence on the 0800 number or physical Snapper retail stores for purchasing Snapper products.
